In 2017, the output of chemical pesticides fell to 2.941 million tons, but in 2018 it fell to 2.083 million tons. In 2019, the output of chemical pesticides stopped falling and rose to 2.2539 million tons, up 1.4 percent year on year.

In recent years, China’s pesticide industry sales revenue as a whole maintained an increasing trend.
In 2018, thanks to the development of biological pesticides and the rise in product prices, as well as the expansion of demand for pesticides in cash crops such as cotton and infrastructure, the industry’s sales revenue was about 329 billion yuan.
It is estimated that the potential market size of China’s agriculture is still expected to rise in 2020.

Different pesticides require different intermediates in the production process.
A product produced by processing agricultural raw materials is also an intermediate medium that combines two or more substances together.
In pesticides can be understood as synergist, also known as organic intermediates.
Originally refers to the use of coal tar or petroleum products as raw materials for the synthesis of spices, dyes, resins, drugs, plasticizers, rubber accelerator and other chemical products, produced in the process of intermediate products.

The synthesis of intermediates is generally carried out in the reactor, and the generated intermediates are separated and purified, usually by extraction technology.
